Plague doctors would cram their masks full of herbs and flowers, believing them to give protection to the illness. We know now that doing so didn't offer any protection, but it did have a different effect. It allowed plague doctors to experience herb and floral tones in completely new ways - the smell of the rot passing through the flowers pushed their scents to unbelievably beautiful places, never before experienced in a scented candle, until now.   York 1349 was the first candle Room Spell created, and it was created from memory. These new lands enabled them to build orchards and grow a vast amount of fruits. Cherries, strawberries, apples and pears were among the most common fruits the Vikings ate and that’s exactly what inspired this scent. A delicious medley of the Vikings favourite fruits, all packed in to your favourite beard products. Amongst other things, Patchouli essential oil has anti-inflammatory qualities as well as antidepressant and antiseptic qualities too. It is also an aphrodisiac.
